How to generate an Presta Shop API Key

To integrate your PrestaShop store with LateShipment.com and enable real-time shipping and tracking features, you’ll need to enable the Webservice API and create an API key. Follow the steps below to get started.


1. Enable the Webservice

To activate the PrestaShop Webservice API:

  1. Log in to your PrestaShop back office.

  2. Navigate to: Advanced Parameters > Webservice.



4. Enable the setting: Enable PrestaShop's Webservice → Set to Yes.

5. Click Save.


2. Create a New API Key

Steps to create a new API key:

  1. In the Webservice section, click Add new key.

In the Key field, click Generate to create a 32-character API key.

Provide a Key description (e.g., "My Integration Key") for identification.

Read-only permissions (GET) for key:


address, carriers, contacts, countries, currencies, customers, image_type, images, order_carriers, order_cart_rules, order_history, order_invoices, orders, products, search, shop_urls, supply_order_states, tags, taxes, warehouse_product_locations, warehouses, zones

Click Save and copy the Key and mail to support@lateshipment.com.
