Connecting Freshdesk with LateShipment.com

Integrating your Freshdesk account with LateShipment.com allows your support agents to view real-time shipment updates directly within Freshdesk tickets—helping your team proactively resolve delivery issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

Part 1: Connect Freshdesk via the LateShipment.com Dashboard

  1. Log in to Your LateShipment.com Dashboard
     Go to https://app.lateshipment.com and log in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to Settings
     On the left-hand side menu, click “Settings.”

  3. Select “Connect Helpdesk”
     Under Settings, click on “Connect Helpdesk.”

  1. Choose Freshdesk
     From the dropdown list, select “Freshdesk.”

  2. Enter Freshdesk Email
     Provide your Freshdesk admin email address in the field provided.



  1. Save and Confirm
     Click “Save” to establish the connection between Freshdesk and LateShipment.com.

Part 2: Install the LateShipment.com App in Freshdesk

This integration enables the LateShipment.com widget to load inside Freshdesk, displaying contextual information about shipments directly inside tickets.

  1. Download the LateShipment.com App
     Visit the Freshdesk Marketplace and install the LateShipment.com app.

  2. Fetch Your Token ID and Admin Email from LateShipment.com

    • Log in to your LateShipment.com account

    • Navigate to “My Profile” → “API Key”

    • Copy your Token ID and Account Administrator Email Address

  1. Enter These Credentials in Freshdesk
     While installing the app, paste your Token ID and admin email into the required fields.

  2. Complete Installation and View the Widget in Tickets

  • Click “Install” to finish setting up the app.

  • Return to your “Tickets” page in Freshdesk.

  • The LateShipment.com widget will now appear automatically when a tracking number is detected in the subject or body of a ticket.



  • The widget displays up-to-date, contextual shipping information, allowing agents to quickly assess and address delivery issues.

  • Clicking “More Tracking Info” will open a detailed shipment timeline view with complete tracking history and transit updates.

What Happens Next?

  • Once set up, your support team will see the LateShipment.com widget in any ticket containing a tracking number.

  • This integration delivers real-time tracking data directly within Freshdesk, enabling agents to respond to delivery-related inquiries with speed and accuracy.

Clicking “More Tracking Info” inside the widget provides a full shipment timeline, including:

  • Transit updates

  • Delay alerts
