Setting up Order Tracking Widget

What is the Tracking Widget?

The Tracking Widget enables you to offer your customers seamless order tracking accessed from right within your website.
Adding the Tracking Widget to your store provides your customers one-click access to their order tracking information.

 

How can I set this up?

  • Log in to your LateShipment.com account.

  • Go to Settings on the top right corner > Select Tracking Widget

  • Customize your widget size, color and type.

  • Copy the 2 snippets of code provided and paste them into your page as specified.

 

Do I need to customize my tracking page to set up the Track Widget?

While you do not need to set up a Branded Tracking Page to use the Tracking Widget, it would certainly help if you’re looking to provide an on-brand tracking experience for your customers.

 

If you opt not to customize your Tracking Page, the order tracking information would be presented on a page that looks like this.

What elements can I customize on the Track Widget?

Customization capabilities ensure that the widget blends well into your page. Here is what you can customize on the widget:

  • Size – You have 3 sizes to pick from – Small, Medium and Large.

  • Colour – You have a color picker to select a color that aligns with your brand.

  • Type – You have 2 options to pick from – Pre-Populated Tracking Number and Show Input Box.

 

  • The Pre-Populated Tracking Number allows you to dynamically pass the Tracking Number on a request to retrieve corresponding tracking details.
  • The Show Input Box option provides a Tracking Number entry box that enables users to enter the Tracking Number for which tracking information is required.
  • Use the Widget Preview that we provide at the top to arrive at what blends well into the rest of your page.
